Biography
American twin daughters born to acting governor Jane Swift, who has been running the state's government from her hospital bed since May 8, and her husband, Chuck Hunt. Swift, the nation's youngest governor at age 36, delivered the girls by Caesarean section at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, according to her spokesman Jason Kauppi. She is the first person in the nation's history to give birth while serving as governor.
Lauren Alma Hunt, weighing 6 pounds, was born at 9:11 PM. Sarah Jane Hunt, 5 pounds, 4 ounces, came into the world a minute later. Both babies are 17" long.
Lauren and Sarah, graduated from Burr & Burton Academy in Manchester in 2019.
