Biography
Brazilian journalist, television presenter and former actress, who has been onscreen since 1960 at the age of seven. She presented the children's TV show Carrossel from 1960 to 1963 and then Garota Bandeirantes from 1964 to 1968. She started acting in telenovelas from 1969.
She entered the faculty of journalism and began to dedicate herself to radio, passing through Rádio Bandeirantes, Rádio Globo, Rádio Capital and Rádio Mulher, where she was a pioneer, becoming the first woman to narrate soccer matches. In 1980, having graduated, she returned to television to present Mulheres (Women) on TV Gazeta alongside Ione Borges, where they remained together for 16 years in a row and became known as "the partners" for their success as a duo. She presented Mulheres in 1980-1996, 1998-1999, 1999-2000 and 2020.
