Biography
Norwegian handball player and Olympic medallist who played 269 games for the national team during her career, scoring 731 goals. With the Norwegian national team she received silver medals at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul and at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, and bronze medals at the 1986 and 1993 World Championships.
Sundal was considered one of the world's greatest line players and was voted best line player at the 1993 World Women's Handball Championship.
