Biography

American artist known for her jewel-like collages made from objects found on her travels in Asia. Among her better known pieces were The Night Room, Pillar of Warmth and A Series of Miscellaneous Connections.

Margi Scharff died of ovarian cancer on 2 July 2007 at age 52 in Tiburon, California.
