Biography
French soldier, a sergeant paratrooper in the Battle of Dien Bien Phu, Vietnam.
He joined the Organisation de l'armée secrète (OAS) ["Organisation of the Secret Army"], a short-lived French dissident far-right paramilitary organisation during the Algerian War (1954–62). He was involved in the group's attempt to assassinate President Charles de Gaulle on 22 August 1962 in Petit-Clamart, France.
He died on 24 November 1998.
