Source Notes

Sabian Symbols No.767. Los Angeles Times Obit on 5/30/1979 gives her age as 86 = 1892. Dewey quotes the same date from Carnegie in AA 11/1942.

Church of Light quotes Kraum in NAJ for 1893, 3:00 AM. April 8, 1893 given in three reference volumes.

On 26/5/2014 Sy Scholfield changed Pickford's date of birth from 9/4/1892 to 8/4/1892, and changed her birth name from 'Gladys Marie Smith' to 'Gladys Louise Smith,' quoting "Mary Pickford, America's sweetheart‎" by Scott Eyman (D.I. Fine, 1990), p. 9: "The woman the world would come to know as Mary Pickford always claimed to have been born Gladys Marie Smith at 175 University Avenue, Toronto, Canada on April 8, 1893. In fact, and despite her frequent denials, her birth certificate shows that she was born Gladys Louise Smith on April 8, 1892."

Scholfield notes an incorrect year in "Horoscopes of Stars" by Evangeline Adams, "Photoplay: the aristocrat of motion picture magazines" *June 1924), p. 106: "Mary Pickford - Born 1893, April 8th, 2 a.m., Toronto, Can. The most pronounced feature in this horoscope is the fact that the Moon, which rules the masses, was rising in the sign of Capricorn..."

As birth times of 2am and 3am are quoted, Scholfield changed the time of birth from 3am to 2:30am and changed the Rodden Rating from DD to C.

Starkman rectified it to 2.51.08 LMT
