Biography
Belgian principal commissioner overseeing the group for the repression of banditry of the federal police of Brussels. Charged in August 1996 with coordinating the investigation into Michel Nihoul, he was accused of having protected him and even of having participated in an orgy involving minors. On 26 March 1997, he was charged with breach of professional secrecy in the leaked Di Rupo case, but he fiercely denied the charges against him, considering himself the victim of a cabal. Suspended from his functions on 4 April 1997 by the Minister of Justice, he was temporarily seconded to the functional direction of the technical and scientific police laboratory of the federal police of Brussels since 12 May 1997, but remained indicted.
