Biography

American singer, rapper, and actress, who rose to fame after Time magazine in 2014 named her as one of fourteen music artists to watch.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, she later moved to Houston, Texas, where she began performing. Before signing with Atlantic Records, she released two studio albums, Lizzobangers (2013), and Big Grrrl Small World (2015). Her first major-label EP, Coconut Oil, was released in 2016.

In 2019, she attained mainstream success with the release of her third studio album, Cuz I Love You, which debuted at number six on the Billboard 200. The album spawned two singles, "Juice" and "Tempo," while the deluxe version of the album included her 2017 single, "Truth Hurts", which became a viral sleeper hit, reaching the top five of the Billboard Hot 100.

Aside from singing and rapping, Lizzo is also an actress, appearing in the movie Hustlers and as a voice over artist in UglyDolls, and she plays the flute.

A search of Lizzo's Tweets reveals she posted in Nov 2018, "Gemini heart w/ a Virgo mind. The passion of a Leo. And the spirit of a Taurus" [9]. In light of these Tweets her chart has been recalculated with a Virgo Ascendant nearer to the Leo cusp.

Another contributor writes "Lizzo states in this interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music [13 August 2021] that she has a Leo Ascendant. She confirms this at 01:02 minutes of the video [10]. In September 2021 the birth time was changed to a speculative 2:30 PM giving 29 Leo rising.
