Biography

American snack food businessman and entrepreneur, known as the "father of nachos." Nachos date back at least to 1943 in Mexico, but Liberto popularised the snack food at American stadiums and cinemas from 1976.

Frank Liberto died of natural causes at his home in San Antonio on 5 November 2017, aged 84.
