Biography
Swiss writer, known as a biographer of historical figures, having published books on Paracelsus and Pope John Paul II, amongst others. After studying history in Friborg, St. Gallen and Zurich, he earned his Ph.D., and worked as a school teacher. He later worked as a journalist and in the graphic arts industry. Since the 1980s, the author has published biographies of historical personalities as well as articles in major newspapers and magazines, and has also produced audio sequences for Swiss radio, plus an autobiography.
