Biography
Flemish physician, hygienist and surgeon who translated numerous German and English medical works into French and Dutch.
In 1886 he worked with Guido Gezelle in translating the Indian epic "The Song of Hiawatha" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
He died in Kortrijk on 29 May 1921, aged 62.
