Biography

Norwegian sociologist. He was professor of medical sociology at the University of Tromsø from 1971, and rector 1977-1981. He was the brother of musician and film maker Erik Løchen.

Løchen died from cancer on 28 July 1998 in Tromsø, Norway, aged 67.
