Albert Köhler (circa 1900)

Biography

German medical officer and university lecturer, who published four works in 1889. At the beginning of the 1890s, he wrote the publications from the field of military health care and the manual on the history of military medical and wartime surgery. For many years he was concerned with the surgical part of the Charité annals. Later, he turned to historical themes, for example the history of gunpowder and guns.

He died on 5 December 1936 in Berlin, aged 86.
