Biography

American community organizer considered by many to be the matriarch of Grand Prairie, Texas. She held a seat on the city council and produced and hosted the longest-running Public-access television cable TV show in Texas.

In 1944, she met and married Vernon Jackson. They had two daughters. Ruthe Jackson died on 9 August 2013 at age 92.
