Source Notes
Church book birth and baptism entry in hand from Sy Scholfield, copy on file (May 2023), recording birth was at "Mittag 1¼ Uhr or Mittag 1½ Uhr" (Midday 1:15 PM or 1:30 PM), the numerals are tiny and blurred.
(On the morning of 18 April 1837, on a Tuesday, Wilhelm was weakened by the slight groan of his wife, and a little boy was there at twenty minutes after one o'clock midday).
