Biography

German/Swiss computer programmer, entrepreneur and astrologer. Bernd developed microcomputer based astrology software as early as 1983. He worked for Astrodienst as a programmer in 1987-1988, helping to get the PAIR licensing software ported from Unix to Msdos. He started his company Astrosoft after that, and gained an important market share in German speaking countries with his astrology software programs Vision and Spirit.

Bernd was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2021, just when he wanted to go into retirement. He died nine months later, on 4 February 2022 at age 65.
