Biography

French mathematician elected to the Academy of Sciences in 1904, as an associate member of the Royal Belgian Academy in 1920, and as a Knight of the Legion of Honour in 1921. He was a member and then chairman of the review committee at the special military school of Saint-Cyr from 1907 to 1923.

He died on 6 May 1924 in Paris, aged 62.
