Biography
Better known as the War, was a famous Spanish bullfighter, also called the second Caliph of Bullfighting. He killed his first bull on 18 October 1878 in the Plaza de Andújar and June 26, 1879, he is presented in Madrid with the nickname "keyring". Integrated on different squads, in 1885 he joined the gang Rafael Molina "lizard" where after two years of learning, take turns in the Plaza de Madrid with the lizard on 29 September 1887. During the next 12 years , shared hegemony in the world of bullfighting with Lagartijo and Frascuelo until without warning, retires on October 15, 1899 at Plaza de Toros de Zaragoza. He is considered one of the great Cordovan bullfighters.
He died in Cordoba on 21 February 1941
