Biography

Brazilian lawyer, environmentalist and politician known as one of the founders of Fundação SOS Mata Atlântica (SOS Mata Atlântica Foundation), a non-governmental and non-profit organization with the goal of defending what remains of Mata Atlântica (the Atlantic Forest) in Brazil. He was the first president of the Foundation, and has acted as a consultant on environmental issues and sustainable development in recent years, as well as a speaker at national and international events.
