German Catholic moralist and theologian who wrote a study on aging, death and rejuvenation (1921).

April 1890 im Geburtenbuch des Standesamtes in Ratibor von 1890 bestätigt, dass dem Ehepaar Franz Doms – einem Fabrikbesitzer – und Maria Doms, geborene Klapper – einer Hausfrau – beide römisch-katholischen Bekenntnisses, wohnhaft in der Wilhelmstrasse 6 in Ratibor, in der Nacht vom 14. April 1890 um 2.30 Uhr zu Hause ein Sohn, zweiter der Reihe nach, geboren wurde. Ein Eintrag vom 10. Mai 1890 nennt als Vornamen dieses Kindes: Herbert, Franz, Julius, Joseph"

(The entry of 16 April 1890 in the birth certificate book of the local authority in Ratibor of 1890 confirms that the married couple Franz Doms - a factory owner - and Maria Doms, born Klapper - a housewife - both Roman Catholic, living at 6 Wilhelmstrasse in Ratibor, in the night of 14 April 1890, at 2.30 o'clock, had a son born at home, second in turn. An entry dated 10 May 1890 mentions the first names of this child as Herbert, Franz, Julius, Joseph).
