Biography
American congenitally united babies joined from the breast to the naval with one very large umbilicus; they weighed 15 lbs 2oz. On 3/06/1982, a 22 member team operated on the four-day old twins successfully separated them, making it a successful separation of the youngest conjoined twins in history. The father is a 26 year old, studying for his master degree and the mother is a 27-year old practical nurse. They have one older daughter, Sarah Maria, who was 2 1/2 at the time of the twins birth.
