Biography
French catholic ecclesiastic, monk of Tibhihrine (Algeria), formerly served as German soldier.
He was one of the two survivors of the terrorist attack on 27 March 1996, in the early morning. The other survivor was "Frère Amédée" aka Jean-Baptiste Noto. The attackers did not notice their presence in the monastery.
He spends the end of his life in Morocco (Notre-Dame de l'Atlas).
