Biography

Brazilian journalist, poet and translator of works by bell hooks, Claudia Rankine and Audre Lorde, among others.

Her first book, Talvez precisemos de um nome para isto (Maybe We Need a Name for This), a reflection on the subjectivity of black women based on their relationship with their hair, was the winner of the Cepe National Literature Award for 2018 in the Poetry category.
