Biography

American actress and singer known for playing the role of Gertrude "Gert" Yorkes in the Hulu original series Marvel's Runaways (2017-2019).

Barer's parents are Mexican Jews. Her sister is actress Libe Barer. On 3 November 2016, Barer publicly came out as gay with a status update on Twitter. They use she/they pronouns.
