Biography
French politician who headed a clinic at the Faculty of Medicine in Paris, and was a member of the radical party. He actively supported the Gigouillette, a charitable organization with its headquarters at Clamecy and which honoured him in 1959. He sat in the Senate in the Democratic Left group and had been the deputy of François Mitterrand in the legislature from 1962 to 1967. He then chose to follow Giscard d'Estaing.
He died on 28 October 1982 in Nice, France.
