Biography
German teacher and politician, active in the German National People's Party (DNVP) since the early 1920s. In 1922 he took over the position of general manager of the DNVP in Bavaria, where he was a member of the state parliament from 1924 to 1932.
In the Reichstag election of November 1932, Baerwolff was elected to the Reichstag, where he was a representative of constituency 24 (Upper Bavaria-Swabia) until November 1933. During his almost one year in parliament, he voted, among other things, for the adoption of the Enabling Act (which gave Adolf Hitler plenary powers) in March 1933.
From 1949 to at least 1959, Baerwolff was a board member of the Bavarian Insurance Bank (Bayerische Versicherungsbank). He died on 8 June 1969 in Munich at age 72.
