Biography
Norwegian singer, dancer, and actress who performed in variety shows before getting the role as Maria in "West Side Story" at Det Norske Teatret in 1982. She has acted in both in musicals and in plays. She started dancing classical ballet at the age of five. She took several exams in classical ballet and later switched to modern ballet and jazz ballet.
She has released three music albums of Norwegian folk tunes and romances. For many years, she has been a soloist with choirs, bands, and orchestras. She is the daughter of scenographer and painter Gunnar Alme and the writer Brett Borgen, and granddaughter of the writer Johan Borgen.
