Biography
French cross-country mountain biker. He won consecutive gold medals at the 2004 Summer Olympics and at the 2008 Summer Olympics. At the 2012 Summer Olympics cross-country race, he suffered a tyre puncture in the opening lap.
He finished only 8th at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Married in 2004, living with road and mountain biker Pauline Ferrand-Prévost since 2016.
