Biography
German State Secretary in the Prussian Ministry of the Interior until shortly before his emigration in 1933, and the founder and leader of the modern Prussian police after the First World War. He was a founding member in Switzerland of the National Committee for a Free Germany (German: Nationalkomitee Freies Deutschland, or NKFD), a German anti-Nazi organization that operated during World War II.
Wilhelm Abegg died on 18 October 1951 in Baden-Baden, aged 75.
